We had the joy to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of my in-laws this weekend in Michigan. Their love has not been without struggle and hardship, however, what was overwhelmingly said about them was their faithful commitment and love to each other.
Along with the anniversary celebration, we saw love in bloom celebrating 3 newlyweds couples and 3 more babies coming this year.
As I consider this sweet, commitment of marriage, parenthood, sibling love and the like, I realize that all of this a dim reflection to the love God has for us.
Today, I pray that you will pause, feel the love He has for you and then live loved throughout your day!
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19
