Intern (Wilmington and Telehealth)

Maybe you wonder if life has to be so hard, hope it will change, or wish it had turned out differently. If that’s you right now, counseling is a great place to start!

I work with adolescents, adults and couples, integrating spiritual principles with evidence-based techniques, combining elements of CBT, DBT, solution-focused and narrative therapy tailored to the client. My work is shaped by a belief that you are created on purpose, for a purpose, and made for a full and thriving life!

As a graduate-level intern working toward Clinical Mental Health Counseling licensure, I am passionate about helping you shine a light on the dark corners of life. With a compassionate and directive approach, I am here to help you work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, spiritual issues, expectation problems, life transitions, and pain from the past or present.

I offer marriage and premarital counseling and am a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitator, which is ironic since I personally did not prepare well for marriage. Yet by the grace of God (and a good marriage counselor!) we’re more than 20 years in and it gets better each year!

Growing up in the church, and as a ministry volunteer for more than 20 years, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly … yet I still love the Church wholeheartedly. If not in the office, I’ll be out walking in the woods or by the ocean, or sharing a great meal and a side of laughter with friends and family.

Your mental wellbeing affects every aspect of life, so it is more than worth the work you will put in. I look forward to working with you!
