Lisa provides a humanistic, emotionally focused approach to therapy. This allows those working with her to develop a stronger, healthier sense of self. This approach is also holistic and encourages self-exploration by focusing on thoughts and feelings in the present. She remains empathetic and creates a strong professional trusting relationship with her clients. Lisa believes this is important to empower clients toward positive growth while using education to empower and teach creative and effective coping skills to manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that promote healing and hope. Lisa has experience in marriage, couples, and family counseling. She implements play and artistic techniques when working with children and adolescents. Lisa uses individualized approaches to help clients process and cope with issues such as relationship conflict, depression, grief and loss, anger, childhood trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, and self-identity.
